Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, Nottingham

Billy’s House is owned and run by Young Lives vs Cancer and offers free accommodation to enable families who live a long distance from Nottingham to stay close to their child when they are having cancer treatment.

Maggie’s

Maggie’s offers support free to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through their doors. You will find their centres alongside NHS hospitals and support is also available online.

PASIC

This charity (formerly called the Parents Association for Seriously Ill Children) supports families of children and young people with cancer in the East Midlands. PASIC offers emotional, practical and social support for families of children on treatment for cancer and for three years post-treatment.

This charity provides information, support and counselling for people with primary bone cancer and their families. They promote research into the causes and treatment of primary bone cancer.  

Brain Tumour Charity

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s largest dedicated brain tumour charity. It funds research, provides support and information services and raises awareness. It aims to reduce the harm brain tumours have on quality of life, and ultimately, to find a cure.

Childhood Eye Cancer Trust

A UK charity for families and people affected by retinoblastoma. It offers support and information, funds research and raises public awareness of this rare cancer.

Leukaemia Care is a national blood cancer support charity, committed to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. 

Lymphoma Action

Lymphoma Action gives emotional support and medical information on all aspects of Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. They run local support groups for people with lymphoma and have a buddy scheme for putting patients in touch with each other by phone.

Neuroblastoma Society

The Neuroblastoma Society seeks to raise funds for research into the disease. They have a befriending scheme for affected families.
